Eager to find out how a polder works? Want to know how the Dutch handle water management?The water theatre will answer all these questions. Experiments and technical assignments let visitors carry out tests using water. The worksheet will teach them how a polder works. The Water Theatre activities do not require prior preparation in class.

Water People

As an addition to the water theatre, the children can visit the Water People exhibition. They crawl through a capsized ship to reach an underwater world with the sounds of water, mysterious corners and remarkable instruments. They will watch the fairy tale that takes them to the miraculous world of the Water People. In order to be well prepared for the story of the water people, we can issue a teaching plan with a number of excerpts from Hans Kuyper's book 'De watermensen' (The Water People).
