The bullet ship &#8211; 20 meters long, 8 meters wide and weighing some 50 tons &#8211; was carefully wheeled out of the preservation station. Then, securely wrapped in protective film, it headed for the water on a trailer. There it was transferred onto a pontoon next to the reconstruction of The Batavia.   <\/p>\n\n<p><strong>One of Europe&#8217;s best-preserved coggeships<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p>The IJsselkogge was discovered in 2011 in the IJssel River near Kampen and was salvaged in its entirety in 2016. Since then, the ship was under the management of Museum Batavialand, where it was preserved with PEG and slowly dried under controlled conditions.
