On Tuesday, January 20, Museum Batavialand will be accessible via a modified route. Because of the removal of the IJsselkogge on and around the premises, we ask visitors to plan extra time for their walk from the parking lot. The shipyard is directly accessible from P1, the museum itself can be reached via an alternative walking route.
There are two possible walking routes from parking lot P1:
Route to the shipyard and the Batavia: follow the dark blue line on the map. This leads you directly to the shipyard of Museum Batavialand. From the shipyard simply follow the dark blue line further to the museum entrance.
Direct route to the museum: choose the yellow line if you want to walk directly to the museum entrance. Allow for a walk of about 12 minutes.
We recommend planning at least 15 minutes extra time for your visit. That way you can relax and enjoy all that Museum Batavialand has to offer without rushing.
