Would you like to work with young people to give the story of Flevoland a new voice? For RUUM 2027, we’re looking for artists, artist collectives, and an exhibition curator who dare to explore, create, and experiment.
Uncovering new stories together
As an artist, you’ll collaborate with young people from Flevoland on a work of art inspired by *De Flevowand*, an embroidered tapestry that tells the history of Flevoland.
As an exhibition curator, you’ll collaborate with the RUUMclub—ten young people from Flevoland—to develop an exhibition about living together, different perspectives, and the question: Who does Flevoland belong to?
The results will come together in a special presentation here at Museum Batavialand.
Seize this opportunity and join us!
The program runs from January through September 2027. A project budget of €13,000 (excluding VAT) is available for both roles. In addition, the artist will receive a €5,000 materials budget.
Comments may be submitted through October 25, 2026.
