National Archaeology Days

Archeohotspot Museum Batavialand

Dive into stories underground together

Under the ground of Flevoland lies a world of hidden stories. About people who lived, traveled and worked here long before the polder existed. During the National Archaeology Days on June 19, 20 and 21, Museum Batavialand will open doors that often remain closed. Take a look inside depots, ask an archaeologist your question and dig like a real researcher yourself.

For young sleuths and adult explorers

Whether you’re 6 or 60: there’s something to dig up. Grab a brush, examine old shards, puzzle with the past or discover what your own find means. Every find tells a story. Maybe that story starts with you.
