Lelystad – 0.6 – 1 fte.
Museum Batavialand is in an exciting phase. We are realizing a radical Renewal and for this we need a growing group of funds, companies and private donors. The campaign has started – you are the one who keeps the relationships warm, seizes opportunities and drives the execution on a daily basis.
Your place in the organization
You report to the Renewal & Development Project Leader and fall within the Marketing, Recruitment & Relations team. You are the executive force of the campaign: you work closely with Marketing & Communications (recruitment materials), the Secretariat (CRM) and Finance (revenue administration). The project leader determines the strategy, together you set the priorities and you ensure that all actions are implemented and followed up.
Responsibilities
Relationship management – your core responsibility
– First point of contact for funds, sponsors, Friends and private donors: by phone, email and in person.
– Maintain and follow up on existing contacts and leads; identify when a relationship is ready for the next step.
– Actively contribute to the growth of the Friends group (solo, duo and larger giving programs).
– Attend and co-organize partner and VIP events.
Campaign Implementation
– Implement the ongoing Renewal Campaign: follow up on fundraising efforts, sponsor contacts and private donors.
– Identify opportunities for new relationships and proactively share them with the director-director (and later the project manager).
– Contribute to targeted fundraisers.
– Monitor financial statements, grant and support conditions and accountability by partner.
Communication & recruitment materials
– Provide appropriate recruitment materials (flyer, brochure, online, PowerPoint) in collaboration with marketing & communications colleagues.
– Produce and send newsletters and direct mailings aimed at donors.
– Coordinate communications and agreed upon quid pro quos towards sponsorship partners.
Administration & CRM
– Track all leads, contact moments and relationship status in the CRM system.
– Monitor overview of ongoing work processes and campaign results.
Your profile
You are proactive, results-oriented and like to get things done. You feel at home in an environment where an ambitious campaign sets the pace and no day is the same.
– Minimum of 4 yr relevant work experience in project management, preferably in the field of fundraising, sponsorship or relationship management, in the cultural or non-profit sector.
– You establish contact easily and are a pleasant, representative interlocutor for directors, fund managers and high net worth individuals.
– Communicatively strong and commercially minded: you enthuse others about our mission and plans.
– You take initiative independently, work accurately and keep an overview even when there is a lot going on at once.
– Experience with CRM systems and administrative processes.
– Knowledge of marketing and/or branding is a plus.
– Affinity with (maritime) history, heritage or the museum world.
– A network in the Flevoland region is a plus.
